Our Principal

Hello Monroe Parents and Families,

My name is Mrs. Pope and I am the Principal at Monroe Elementary. I was the School Counselor here at Monroe from 1998-2011 before going to Marshall Middle School. I returned to Monroe in March of 2013 to be the Interim Principal. I have a Bachelor degree from UW-Whitewater in Elementary Education, a Masters in Counseling from UW-Whitewater, and a Masters in Supervision and Administration from National Louis University.

I have also taught Kindergarten, First and Second Grades. I have always been a Mustang at heart so I am very glad to be a part of this Monroe family. We work very hard to continue on with the great tradition of teaching, learning and collaborating at Monroe.

I am married with a daughter named Kenley who keeps me very busy when I am not here at school. She is the joy of our lives.
